Although, as the article Carolyn linked to explains, you can lock your watch with Activation Lock, there is no way to search for it. The watch has no location capabilities of its own so, there is no way for the phone to know where it is.
Thanks Meg! I keep forgetting a watch doesn't show up under Devices in iCloud.com.
The lack of onboard GPS strikes again! 😉
